The goal of the Injury and Violence Prevention Program is to eliminate preventable death and disability due to injury and violence. They work to reduce injury risk in Washington State, using data to identify prevention priorities and develop interventions based on best practices.

They work with local partners on prevention programs such as:

  • Motor vehicle safety
  • Older adult falls
  • Unintentional poisoning
  • Drowning
  • Suicide
  • Sexual violence
