Address Confidentiality

The Secretary of State’s Office offers a post office box address to victims of crime to protect them from violence and stalking. As a state-sponsored protection, all state government offices are required to recognized the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) as an acceptable home address, even in circumstances which explicitly demand a street address.

ACP is used as part of an overall safety plan to prevent perpetrators from locating participants using public records such as driver licenses, voter registries and marriage records.

Trained and certified KSAC staff members are available to answer your questions about this program, and assisting you in applying.
